In 1948 Joe, John, and Frank Garcia decided to start a "different kind of grocery store" in Palo Alto. They set out to build a business that would honor the family values of hard work and honesty and began a quest to provide the best quality and service anyone could buy. Today their sons Dennis, Lloyd, and John strive to keep their fathers' dream alive.
 
 
A grocery store is just a grocery store, right? WRONG!
 
JJ&F Market has served the Stanford and College Terrace neighborhoods for over 50 years. Need spaghetti sauce or fresh peaches? How about a good bottle of wine, fresh salmon, or locally made organic eggplant parmesean? JJ&F has everything you need and things you may have forgotten too. At JJ&F we go out of our way to make this the best grocery shopping experience you can have.
 
Our beef is USDA choice Harris Ranch or Niman Ranch. Both are natural and aged to perfection. Our pork is from Niman Ranch and our poultry is from Melani Poultry Company. Lloyd still ages the sides of beef the old-fasioned way, not in a box like our competitors.
 
In our deli we carry Boar's Head and Saags meats and our salads and entrees are made on the premises by our chef, Juan.
 
Our wine department is top notch. Our customers trust and respect Dennis' discriminating palate.
 
Lupe keeps our produce department fresh and well-stocked. We try our best to purchase our goods from local family-run business like JJ&F.
